Discover Children’s Story Centre

In partnership with Discover Children's Story Centre, I co-developed and delivered spoken word, creative writing and heritage workshops for children, families and schools across East London. Through three school workshops and two public family events, around 60 participants explored language, identity, local heritage and storytelling through creative writing, oral storytelling and performance.

Rooted in my belief that every voice carries value, the workshops encouraged children to see their everyday experiences, dialects and imagination as meaningful sources of creativity. Designed to build confidence, oracy and belonging, the project also supported the training of three local StoryBuilders, helping develop community capacity for future storytelling and creative engagement.
