Creative Director & Author — Hurricane Brain
I conceived, wrote and self-produced Hurricane Brain, an illustrated therapeutic storybook and emotional wellbeing resource, in response to a gap in the market when I worked professionally as a teacher and play therapist. The resource supports emotional literacy and grief processing for young people navigating bereavement. I led the creative direction from concept to publication, collaborating closely with illustrators and designers to realise a cohesive artistic vision..I designed and delivered a successful crowdfunding campaign, raising £6,000 in 40 days. Managed project marketing, press, audience development, social media strategy, community outreach and promotional activity. Oversaw stakeholder engagement, fundraising, campaign communications and public relations.
