Hurricane Brain was born out my own experience of losing my mum at 29.

 

Whilst not a child, I found the whole experience overwhelming and isolating and this drove me to want to help young children.

 

This story aims to support a child’s experience of loss and bereavement and help to understand grief.

 

This lyrical, poetic story charts the journey of Keith, as he embarks on the myriad of emotions that fire up inside of him and how he comes to heal them.

Hurricane Brain also has guidance for grown ups from my play therapy role, so can help professionals, parents and carers supporting bereft children.
